Jacqui Richards

 Jacqui's childhood training began with RAD grades as a pupil of Cynthia Hancock, She attended weekly classes in Ballet at The Hammond School. 


For Tap and Modern she studied at Mary Archbutt School in Altrincham progressing to Intermediate levels in all genres. 


After gaining Advanced Vocational grades Jacqui began teacher training with the RAD and ISTD at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre gaining Associates in Imperial Ballet and Modern Theatre, and RAD teachers qualifications in the Children’s and Vocational Syllabus. 


After opening her own school Jacqui continued to study, and gained an Associate Diploma, Licentiate Assessment, and more recently the Diploma in Dance Pedagogy in Classical Ballet.

Fiona established her dance school in 1985 thus her teaching career began. This multi award-winning school has grown to be one of the largest in the country.


Over 40 years Fiona has taught and developed thousands of pupils in the disciplines of Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Highland and Scottish National. 


She has also prepared and developed numerous pupils for full-time vocational training and  successfully prepared many senior pupils for teaching qualifications.


Fiona currently holds a Fellowship with the BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dance) in multiple subjects; a Fellowship with the UKA (United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing); a membership with the STDA (Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance) and is a RSOBHD (Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing) Adjudicator.

Hannah Paulin

Hannah started dancing at age 4 and studied Ballet, Highland, Modern and Jazz at The Fiona Henderson School of Dance. 


In 2014 she became a Class Assistant at the dance school and showed an aptitude for teaching.

 

In 2018 she gained an Associate Membership of the SDTA (Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance) and has been a class teacher in a range of subjects ever since. 


In 2022 Hannah obtained her PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique) qualifications and has been employing the methodology in class teaching ever since.


Hannah holds a first class Honours degree in International event management and is the lead tutor and show director for Stardust Performance Arts.
